Where did Emily go?

To her house.
To her parents house.
To the internet!
To a game store.
To a Game Stop.
To a new character, because there aren't enough already.
To Capcom headquarters.
To Marten
To the batmobile.
To the barricades.
To the moon.

For next week, I anticipate a parody of a Greek tragedy. Perhaps Antigone? It would be interesting if a new animal was added to the Yelling Bird verse, perhaps an anthropomorphic anteater with antenna whose anterior lobe has been removed, which makes it rather antsy and antisocial.

The mines under CoD are found to have a rich vein of antozonite. (Found that one while reading about fluorine).

Nonono! A true tragedy would be a pesticide: Antigone.

Why do people hate puns again?

I don't think that people hate cleverly constructed puns. In moderation, you know, as a part of a sensible diet.
I can understand why overlaboured and done-to-death pun threads can grate with some, though.

Those who are propun minded enjoy the lengths to which they can take the word play. Those who are ant i simply see it as pun ishment.

Considerably less than 10% of puns are ever funny.

It's been studied. A group of professional comedians sat down listened to each other for hours, restricted to puns. They could generate hundreds of puns, but in terms of producing a smile, no pun in ten did.

QC doesn't have its characters sit at the bar through long setups for wordplay involving a dog named Ike that can aim and saw, and a Kurdish man. Yelling Bird would probably give it a shot, though.

Okay, locking polling since no one else has posted after jwhouk so kindly posted results. Currently trying to think of one on topic, but considering the last comic, I'm having trouble thinking of one I don't find too risque (masturbation positions, favorite site, what do you do if a pet walks in, no, no, and noooo).

EDIT: New poll up, just went back to Emily. Also, thought on last week; perhaps Dora's clock has a timer feature, and was actually counting down her time available for self indulging.

wait...

we aren't going to get into an arc where G-Spider (name up for debate, apparently) re-meets marten, somehow it comes up that he's terrified of him, and that screwed up the readings, and pintsize gets "reassigned" to someone else, only for marten to realize how much he liked the little guy, and embark on an epic journey to rescue his friend, are we?
