Uhm... H-Hi...
« on: 10 May 2013, 15:21 »

H-hi... I've just gotten into QC recently... and since then, I've read it all... Uhm.. And I thought it would be awesome to chat about my new favorite comic....

E-er.. Am I doing this right?

A-anyways... I'm, like, super shy, so... Don't murder me, okay...? I-I like doing fan art, so you might see some of that.... Uhm...

Y-yeah. That's me.... H-hi....

Hello. Wir sind multikulturell, wie du siehst.

Willkommen.

@Masterpiece: Google Translate gets as far as "Don't eat honey with long fingers", which I suppose is pretty reasonable. What does the rest mean?

It's something along the lines of "sometimes you're just not fated to get what you want, even if it would make sense".

"Honey" is a metaphor for "the innermost desire", which I find charming about the Turkish language.

Maybe it's an old keyboard. Didn't keys used to bounce? OTOH, they didn't insert hyphens between characters when they did bounce.
Anyway, welcome to the forum and mind your lug wrench.

Maybe the keyboard is shorted somehow.

It's the humidity.

*curious* What's this 'lug wrench' thing? Is it like the game (which I just lost after... a week... and a couple of months before that)? And... Thanks again, for all the welcomes. My keyboard doesn't have a short in it, it's a netbook, if it does... then, I'm screwed. (I type how I'd act irl, so... >.> just wait a few weeks, you'll get me outta my shell)

A warm welcome from my direction as well.

The lug wrench thing… well it's just that Kugai melts them with a passion.

I type as I think as well, which might lead to a strange structure of sentences and a lot of these: "…"

Sorry, Ankh, not so much. Hence "not-true". I think most shy people have been told to just be more outgoing, though.

I was being sarcastic, but I can't decide if you were.

A cure for shyness would be great though.

I know I said don't be shy, and I see how that's a bit insensitive.

What I was trying to say was that, hey! It's the internet. If there's a good place to jump over your own shadow, it's here. We won't bite you for it. In fact, we'll be thoroughly glad.

...but maybe don't stutter in writing?  :-\

Awe! I like nibbles! and nibbling. but, yeah, every place on the net I go to, I end up shy and stammering. If I don't I just make a complete ass of myself, and that's no fun either. and woo! just got off the job! :D

Welcome!

Making a complete ass of oneself is kinda the whole point of being on the Internet, no need to be embarrassed about it. I do it all the time. It's fun!
