I read a few most of the time, the only ones I'll always check for are QC, xkcd and smbc. I check OotS one a month or so, because checking any more frequently is a recipe for insanity.

I don't know, I think it would've worked so much better without Dora's last line. Faye's punchline was great, Dora's bit kind of overdid it.

I am intrigued by the almost total lack of votes so far for anyone but Marten and Hannelore. This leads me to conclude that they will return to space, and while there Earth will be nuked from orbit (it's the only way to be sure!), and the comic will take a shocking swerve for the postapocalyptic. It's the hot new thing, until World War Z goes Ishtar on us at least.

Much as we ridicule Marten for his love life, there has actually been a reasonable run of women chasing him: Dora, Cosette, and Padma.

Claire chasing him would be too simple to be funny. Maybe she's going to ask him for advice about adopting an AnthroPC because she's so impressed with Pintsize.

I do not recall the name of the trope, but it's a recurring theme in comedy that a character who is allegedly odd and homely and hard up for companionship gets a suspiciously large amount of it. Leonard from Big Bang Theory or Alan from Two and a Half Men for example, to cite the Chuck Lorre abuse of it.

Being impressed by Pintsize is the most unlikely theory yet.

I think it was our resident expert on trans* issues, ZoeB, who mentioned that might be because hormonal treatment can change eye color as a side effect.

So it's either that or color lenses or Jeph simply forgot.

Both look green to me, though 2435 more of a blue-green and 2445 more of a grey-green.
