Look at the schematics on that one.

That's fine. Changing the thread title is pretty easy, I believe.

Here's a thread for things you hadn't noticed before, for archive divers like myself. Please feel free to share things you didn't notice previously about the comic.

With that keyword seeding done, I'll start:

In #2960, Prolapse Monthly has an ad for Pintsize and Winslow's singing dildo from #2818.

(I did a forum search for a thread like this, but it didn't turn up any results.)

I ... I didn't know I wanted to notice that, but thank you for your work anyhow.  :-\

It's a little strange that people haven't. Jeph has a way of putting interesting things and callbacks into his backgrounds without calling attention to them. It's fun to spot them.

In 2550, Tai sees Dale and immediately climbs him. Jeph's comment under the comic is "Tai really should join a rock climbing gym".

Jump all the way to 3443 and Tai DID join a rock climbing gym!

Technically, she only says "I've been rock climbing!" -- that does not necessarily mean she joined a rock climbing gym.

She could have been climbing... you know... real rocks.  :psyduck:

In the strip where Tortura visits Steve I thought she had a purse over her shoulder -  but it's a gun. No wonder Cosette is intimidated.

I'm trying to imagine how pulling the gun from that holster would work, and it seems like it would not work well.

??
Looks like a pretty standard cross-draw shoulder holster to me? Worn on the left to be drawn with the right hand.
Perhaps a little too vertical at that point but that could easily be due to her pose, arm locked straight behind it, shoulder hunched, lifting it and forcing the muzzle end forward…

Probably drawn up tight because she'd have to wear a coat over it. As open as Northampton might seem, its probably not a good idea for anyone to walk down the street visibly carrying a weapon.

No wonder Cosette is intimidated.
Honestly, I still think the "feed you to pigs" line is a tad more intimidating than a holstered pistol.

I was wondering this for a while...in the course of 3500+ strips, has an Asian male character ever been drawn?
I believe there was an Asian waitress at a Chinese restaurant in a really old strip, she was the only Asian female I recall before Emily was introduced.

Electric meter. Pretty common on houses and businesses here in the states.

Yup, analog electric meter.  Every month or so a power company employee comes by and reads it.  They're being phased out by digital devices which, in some cases, can now be read remotely over the power lines.

In http://questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=2968 outside the clinic where Hannelore went to get her skin lesion checked, the name of the second doctor could be Takeshi Kovacs, who is the anti-hero in Richard K. Morgan's Altered Carbon series. You wouldn't want him treating you!

This thread is for little stuff you notice about QC that you didn't before, or think others might've missed.

I'm doing an archive crawl, and just noticed that Sven is left-handed...

Left-hander as well, but I keep my mouse on the right when not gaming.  That's mostly just because the wacom tablet is taking up room on the left.

I'm right-handed but I used to keep my mouse on the left. That was because I worked for a long-distance telephone company and a high proportion of what I entered was numbers, so it made sense to keep my right hand on the number pad and use my left hand on the mouse - it was much faster than constantly moving my hand from the number pad to the mouse.

That was twenty years ago and these days I tend to keep my left hand on the trackpad in the middle of my laptop keyboard.
