See, this is why I don't like in medias res-trailers.
It's a pretty good way of creating tension in an unknown situation, especially in established settings. I love being in a situation not knowing how I got there and what happened for the shit to hit the fan so to speak. That surprise effect is lost if you're talking about a completely new setting though. In that trailer I just went "meh, some run of the mill characters in a used horror setting."
