A Newbie's Obsession!
« on: 16 Jul 2013, 22:12 »

Hello there persons of the interwebs,

I just joined the forums today and felt like sharing my new favorite group. To be quite honest I have listened to them so much I am getting a bit burnt out on them! From what I understand there's a community of music-junkies around here so I thought I'd share.

Well here goes:

Fleet Foxes.

I don't even know how to describe them. It's like some type of Indie Folk Alternative Rock, and sometimes reminds me of Simon and Garfunkel.

If you wanna know my favorites and recommendations for anyone just hearing about them, then I suggest:

White Winter Hymnal

Grown Ocean

Montezuma

Mykonos

Helplessness Blues

I'd love to see some replies with thoughts, opinions, and suggestions.

Their drummer went solo under the name Father John Misty and he is an incredible singer, songwriter, and performer. Also, super fucking funny.
