Best known as the host of radio show American Top 40 and Shaggys voice in the Scooby Doo Cartoons, Mr Kasem passed away today.

Yep. "The Top 40" was it.  Used to sit with a pile of cassettes, trying to catch the really cool songs.

Casey Kasem also spoke out against the stereotyping of Arabs in media and entertainment, which I greatly admire him for.
