QC MEETUP IN BOSTON
« on: 04 Aug 2013, 11:44 »

So this is more open-ended, any time that's good for anyone who is interested in this September onward. (Also it doesn't have to be Boston, but I guess just New England in general)

So post in the QC New England meet up thread!
Ahh, this one.

Hmm... dunno... might be interesting for a get together.  I'll admit right here, though, that I have social... ah, aversions and anxieties....  Kind of hard for me to give a "yeah, sure!" right now.  Maybe if there were at least 3 or 4 people that end up wanting to do this, I might be able to.

Cash is a little strapped right now, though.  Don't know if I'd be able to afford a "field trip", but we'll see what the future holds.

BOSTOCON STRIKES AGAIN!

In my experience, Boston is the best place for meetups. I am super biased, though. :) If I were headed out that way anytime soon, I totally would, but my vacation time is limited, so no can do. :(

Fury, can you get up to Burlington? I've been wanting to go back to Burlington since I went there in 2010. It's about two hours from me, and (looks up) wow, still kind of far for you. Didn't realize how big Vermont was.

Anyway, yeah, I definitely plan on going to Boston at some point (at many points, but at some point fairly soon).

Hey, there's a reason we're called the "twin states". ;)  But yeah, for me I believe it's close to a couple hour drive as well.  Concord would almost be closer.... lol

But either way, cash is seriously strapped right now.  I'm not being paid some serious money that I need right the moment.  Won't get into details on it.  While I doubt anyone from my area who'd know anyone involved is here reading these forums, considering it's a legal issue right now I don't want to risk it.

Gotcha. I'll be in Concord at least three years, so we have plenty of time to make this happen.
