There are a few bugs in the website code - for instance some archive entries appear twice, as well.  If Jeph notices, or more likely, if someone emails him to let him know, he may get around to fixing it some time if he feels it matters.  OTOH, it's been like that for as long as I know, so I guess it's not a high priority for him...

I believe he means the "Archive" tab above the comic, which goes to a list of numbers and titles which goes from 869 to 871 without anything in between.
