Faye's cut her hair, so it's not unlikely that she can go to someone and have them do her hair.

In fact, Faye might have that as a side thing with Hanners.

Jeph has resolutely refused to tie it to a time frame but it's probably within a factor of two of being one year.

Huh... I always thought it was more, though I can't really pin down how long. Maybe... three years? The time Dora and Marten were together seemed quite long to me, more than a year at least (from them acting like a long-term couple, living together...), maybe two. Before they got together, I would put down a timespan of a few months, like 4-6. And I think that since the seperation, quite a lot of time has passed again.
I know that there haven't been many seasonal changes, but maybe we missed these. I'm referring rather to how much character and relationship development there has been and how much has happened; how well everyone got to know each other. Half a year or a full year seems too short a time for that to me. Does that make sense?

And now, the only comic where Marten will ever have a butt. Odd how I remember details about the butt of an individual, but have the worst trouble remembering someone's birthday unless it's close to a holiday or has some kind of system to it.

There's a tradition in my house of calling out 'gibberish!" whenever we're watching a ST  (in any of its iterations) episode and a character (usually the engineer) drops into the techno-babble for which the series are so justly famed.

I realize I'm a little behind on this one.

I dunno about you folks re: feels experienced comparison between the last two Dale/May comics prior to the flareup of guesting, but the "look at the stars" strip hit me harder of the two mainly because it immediately reminded me of another pair watching the stars before parting. So there's that.

How can you distinguish harmonics in a twerking system?  You only have two buttocks (I'm assuming).

I'm wondering that myself.

(click to show/hide)

edit -- thinking about it some more, even harmonics would be easy to produce, though they would involve jiggling of the individual buttocks (e.g. a fourth harmonic would appear similar to Pintsize in the comic, but with each buttock having two vibrational antinodes. It's still hard to imagine what a fifth harmonic would look like as it would have an antinode between the buttocks. Okay, I think I can imagine what it would look like, but let's not go there. Mind bleach, anyone?

Since when does Pintsize even have a butt, anyway? And if he did, wouldn't it be hard plastic rather than something that flexible?

It's one of those new materials an AntroPC can have....Buttonium. Kinda like how Volvos are made from Volvonium, which contributes to the way many Volvos can't get hurt in accidents.
