So I came across this comic http://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=2175 and it made me think of http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2l67RK_tvaM was wondering if the concept freaked anyone else out.

As a frequent prescription comparer in my youth (never did meet anyone as strongly nearsighted), I can safely say that I found the comic hysterical...

The adventure time thing looks to be more about schizophrenia than anything else.  But I don't really know the cartoon.

Schizophrenia is not synonymous with hallucinations.

I just got the image of a midwife and a woman giving birth swinging towards each other on a trapeze - when they meet, the midwife pulls the baby out. The knife juggler is standing on the floor and cuts the umbilical cord with a a knifethrow.

No, but the in-you-face aspect of hallucinations (visual or auditory) is a common symptom.
