Been a while since we talked about this but nevertheless I'd like to point to Robert Rath's article on fedoras over at the Escapist. His column is the most insightful thing on the Escapist by a wide margin.

My favorite hat remains my chevalier, or my Akubra, the latter of which mixed with my love of large knives, cooked meat, khaki clothes and drinking a ton makes me a walking Australian stereotype
