Wargame: Airland Battle
« on: 01 Jan 2014, 02:37 »

Alright, for all you fellow warlords, Guerrilla gurus and Flag bearers of Za Rodina, you may recall me having pointed out a game called Wargame: AirLand Battle at some point. Well, I just got it this week, and let me tell you, it is pretty damn fun. It pits NATO and the Warsaw Pact against each other in very meticulous, thought out conflicts that require the average player to be VERY on the ball with many things. Ain't no real Zerging here folks, unless you want to see that battalion of freshly minted tanks get turned into terrifying performance art by someones well placed and supplied missile infantry.

So, if anyone else has the hankering for this sort of in depth wargaming, and possibly remembers World in Conflict from a few years ago, check it out on Steam.
