Considering Tai is apparently going she probably invited Dora, so I suggest that Marten will spend the entire time Tai and Dora aren't dancing/making out (damn near the same thing if your doin' it right, I know, but…) talking exclusively to one or both of them and miss the point, again.

I'm not sure about her inviting Dora. Tai's going to this party specifically for Marten, she's mentioned not wanting to go originally. But Marten missing the point and talking to her exclusively sounds plausible.

I'm pretty sure "Marten can train interns" and "Marten isn't transphobic" are the only pieces of character development for this guy who was once the "main character" since Padma. Maybe this party will have some interesting happenings.

Delilah has HAIR

Onlly seen Marten high once, I think - at Dora's folks?  I seem to recall Dora getting a contact buzz - did Marten partake?

That kind of party can be a real drag if it's not your cup of "tea".

Although he's already the life of the party with just one inspired idea...

When the page loaded and I first glanced at panel 1, for a moment I was like "Is she so high that she's ironing her clothes while she's wearing them?" (somewhat related)

I can't recall having ever seen Marten high.  Could be entertaining.

I remember how bewildered I was the first time somebody at a party offered me what appeared to be a plastic bag half-full of plain old air (the product of a Volcano isn't technically smoke and doesn't look like smoke, or look like anything) and said "Want some?"  I think I stared blankly for a moment or two and said, "Want some what?"

Pretty sure Dora's not coming--Tai'd have a hard time being Marten's wing-lady if she were on a date.

And I'm kinda not looking forward to this week. Even though I grew up in the era of Cheech and Chong and excessive drug humor, I never found it appealing nor necessary. (I don't drink, either.)

Actually, that combo sent a few people to the hospital to one party that I went to. One became braindead and the family pulled the plug a week after that diagnosis.

Agreed, Bench Girl looks promising. Jeph wouldn't draw her just as a background character without a purpose :-D. She looks sad, though, like she has been commandeered to do do this job, but would rather be somewhere else.

Interesting, but perhaps a bit exaggerated? Or are some girls really that hairy? If she is into the "natural look", wouldn't she also have armpit and facial hair? (She might have armpit hair, there is a slight shadow underneath her arm.)

I cannot recall if bare feet have occurred earlier in the series, perhaps Jeph is learning to draw them? Delilah's feet are not particularly pretty (even without hair), and Bench Girl's feet, while better, are not perfect either IMHO.

Numerically I have far more hairs than that on my legs. I've not actually done a survey but I'm pretty sure that I have the same number of hairs as a man would, but possibly they're finer and in my case less visible due to colour (I have blonde hair, so my leg hair is almost translucent). Jeph hasn't, to my knowledge, ever drawn leg hair before so it's understandable that he's not yet perfected making it photo-realistic (which wouldn't suit his style anyway).

She would only have facial hair if, you know, she had facial hair. The reason that most women don't have beards and moustaches isn't that they spend as much time shaving their faces as they do shaving their legs, it's because they just don't grow hair on their face.

I think she does have armpit hair, but even if she didn't, what makes you think that she's got leg hair because she's into some specific look? I have leg hair because I can't be bothered to shave them, but I shave under my arms because it's itchy otherwise.
