There is no nice way to say what I'm thinking so maybe just go with "I don't like it."

Also I think the glasses worked on Mickey Rourke well enough. Just not on me. Maybe if I had gold teeth and my face looked like an old leather glove I'd be ok. Ah well.

My boots are fucking sick.

Also I think I will always wear my NRA hat and boots with american flags on the laces to airports from now on, Security fucking loved me.

When I went to LA I changed in the airport and I unwittingly wore my Freedom Is Not Free bald eagle tshirt. I had never had a faster check in.

Ally, I think it could look good on you, but not with that outfit. Or it might just be the camera/lighting.

i actually agree with nodaisho. it's a pretty color and it looks good with your facial features and coloring, but i think you'd have to make it fit within an outfit to actually ROCK it. that color was super popular for a while with the nu skool pin up girls. wear something super fitted and feminine with the lips and you should be fine. alternatively something cyndi lauper would wear but updated. i could see it with an outfit that would match the rodarte/laboutin spike shoes too.

Ally you look like something out of a classical painting, seriously. Soft features and so lovely.
Honestly I don't like pin up fashions but it's look really great with a very minimalist outfit, a blouse and some nice cut jeans with some lace up dress shoes and your hair pulled up, it'd be nice.

I committed American Apparel today you guys, please forgive me.

Got this (in purple)/orchid, probably going back for a grey hoodie, and maybe some underpants

Also, while I was in there, I heard the following
"Cannonball" by The Breeders
"Waiting Room" by Fugazi
"1969" by The Stooges
"Blitzkrieg Bop" by The Ramones

I don't know how to feel about that

Hey guys I have a Serious Dilemma.

I am going to a festival on friday morning and have decided that I probably need boots because this festival is in Ireland and ... yeah.

So I was going to buy Wellies in this store because I have 45 pound gift card for that store. But the thing is this will be the only time in the foreseeable future that I will wear wellies, and I figured that I kind of do need proper walking boots which are also water proof.

I was thinking these or these but don't really know anything about these things sooo yeah...

I have a pair of jeans currently unwashed for about four months I think? When I get them dirty (and I do, from food to mud) I wipe the muck off with a wet cloth and let it air dry.

I'm pretty much convinced that sunburns are the only reason people manage to sell clothes at all in that state. Granted, the last time I was in Austin was back in August of '03 and there was a 3 day stretch of ridiculous heat that peaked at 110°F. Normally my cousins just tease me for being from a cold state but in that case there wasn't really any response when I asked if the planet was trying to kill us.

Hello, people that don't wear jeans in any situation that involves them actually getting dirty.

I'll usually go until I notice them getting too dirty, which can be anywhere from 2 days to better than a week. Closer to 2 days when I'm working, because oil, plaster dust, insulation fibers, wire lubrication goop, and the rest of the associated crap that gets on my working is pretty nasty. I wish I could wear some of my jeans longer than a week without them getting unusable. I have a hard time finding jeans that fit me well the way I wear them (the waist goes over the hips, not under the ass) without paying a lot, so I only have a couple pairs I really like. I might need to get more soon, I have a couple that are about to get holes.

What are the general recommended levi cuts? 501s, 510s, and what else?

Yeah, not really liking the 201s. If I were to get something like that, I would probably just get real carharts, and have a pair of jeans that would stand up to a lot of hard work, look like that, and probably cost about the same, if not less.

I'll probably have to find ones that fit right. I think I must have an unusual waist-thigh ratio for people that want to have closer fitting jeans, so I probably will just need to try on a bunch until I find something that fits me all along the leg and waist.

I love 501's but I am a sucker for button flys.....because zippers are really stupid. Volcom also makes some pretty decent jeans but they aare a little pricey, and most of them are skinny (but not all!)

but yeah 501's are the shit
