keep a $100 cushion in my account from now on.

I keep a $5000 cushion. A lot of people think I'm a weirdo because of that and people at the bank keep trying to get me to open up a savings account with that, but between my monthly rent, student loan payments, health insurance, retirement savings, tax payments, and credit card payoffs, I could easily accidentally draw several thousand dollars at the same time.

We're in League One, which makes it far worse.

You were beaten by a team two divisions below you.

Summer Camp USA, yeah. Have you done one?

Yeah, that one. I haven't done it, but I know a bunch of people who have. They all seem pretty happy with that fact.

I am housesitting for people with a dog. It's a house dog and she's very dependent. She'll follow you around and if you stay in one room for a while she'll just curl up near you and sleep, then when you leave she'll get up and follow you. If you open the fridge she'll come and beg. If you pick up your keys she'll come and beg. You cannot cook anything without this dog hanging around. You can't go get a drink without her following. If you go to the toilet she'll be outside waiting for you when you open the door. When you go to bed she'll scratch at your door.

The house is otherwise completely empty but I'm feeling so crowded in it's unbearable. I'm going to go get subway and drive to this one carpark that overlooks the sea so I can be alone for a bit.

How old are you?

As old as the sea. As old as the mountains, I have seen winters come and go. I have seen the worlds change from innocence to corruption to ignorance. I have seen things you can't even imagine. I have witnessed wars that tore open the earth, down to it's very soul. I have see civilizations grow up, reach the heavens and get torn down again by evil darker than deepest deaths of the ocean. I have witnessed titans battle and leave a path of destruction in their wake, people band together against in-probable odds and survive. I have aided humanity in the most desperate of times as well as stood aside to let them resolve their own pointless squabbles.

Dear blag,

I turned 21 a week ago. Whoo for me I guess. I'm moving to Livermore, California in 9 days. Got the ticket and everything. My friends have apparently decided that since I'm leaving, they don't fucking feel like hanging out with me. The few people who still hang out with me are greatly appreciated, though, and it makes it that much better to still be able to hang out with them. Definitely counting my blessings.

Still haven't gotten all my shit out of my old apartment, 'cause my friend with a truck is being shitty about calling me back. I don't know how the fuck I'm gonna get all my shit down to Livermore. I still have to figure out logistics for getting all my guitars down to California, and it's made more difficult by the fact that my prized hollowbody has no case, and none of my soft cases will fit it. Considering wrapping it up in sweaters just to provide packaging so I can shove it in the box with my others.

Becca apparently wants to be friends still. She and a friend of mine went and smoked a few bowls. I basically was an asshole to her the entire time, but hey, if she wants to put up with it and smoke me out, whatever. I may be a dick for being this way, but whatever. I've decided that life just isn't fucking worth going through, sucking on people's dicks just to appease the rest of the world while I get fucking walked all over.

Word.

Tommy, quit calling me Mary-Lou, you paunchy guts-griping bum-bailey.

I've just spent a stupid number of hours working on the ice hockey club's website. If I put this much time and effort into my degree I'd get a first without question. Trouble is my degree is less interesting. Anyway having finally got it sorted I discover I can't upload anything so I've had to email the people who run the student computing facility and get them to change my permissions. In the meantime it is uploaded to my own webspace so that my captain can see it. I hope she likes it!

My friends have apparently decided that since I'm leaving, they don't fucking feel like hanging out with me.

Dude, I am in this same boat and it is insane, like, as soon as I moved out of my apartment (staying with my parents for like 2 weeks, not that far from where I used to live) I have gotten no texts or anything from any friends even though I told them that we should all hang out and stuff. Whatever though they can eat dicks I am leaving in 5 days to go to the frozen north.

Shiiiit I am going to Buffalo in 5 days fuuuuck

Man if you are such as intoxicated or inebriated or high or drigh or such man than you should definitely put that photo in the "You Better Not Be Sober" thread.
If you are not than I would have to make the assumption that you feel that weed validates your manliness (I am making no such assumption).

EDIT: OK, I am, but not in this thread.
EDIT: Nevermind. Joe's "Is this funny or just mean and or nonsensical" meter is broken right now.
EDIT: Yes, that picture is awesome.

I have observed many times that even the most agile of dogs can only stand on its back feet for a limited amount of time. I am concerned about what happened to that dog when it could no longer maintain its balance and had to fall forward.

Actually I am intrigued as to how that dog manages to walk at all. Can one buy wheelchairs for dogs? Or prosthetic limbs? I know that there is a vaccine for FIV, the cat equivalent to HIV, and also that treatments for arthritis in dogs is more effective than treatment for the same affliction in humans, so I could easily imagine that the field of canine prosthetics might be quite advanced.
