Loki's link works fine, and gives your "element" as well as your animal.
It isn't usually the day of the week that confuses people about the year in which they are born for the Chinese zodiac. People born in January or February can be confused because Chinese New Year is a "movable feast" falling in the Gregorian calendar on different dates each year between January 21 and February 20.
Pro tip: There are
Five Elements in Chinese astrology/alchemy/geomancy: Wood (木 mů), Fire (火 huǒ), Earth (土 tǔ), Metal (金 jīn), and Water (水 shuǐ). The word "element" is really a mistranslation, derived by analogy from the Ancient Greek (and thus Western) idea of four elements (Earth, Air, Fire, Water).
This is the year of the Wood Horse, so I suppose we should all beware Greeks bearing gifts...
