I am so addicted to this show. I had my doubts at first, but once I started watching it, I was super pleased.

Oddly enough I thought this sounded all very familiar even without having seen a single episode. Turns out this is a remake of a BBC show I did watch which was glorious in its villainy. The original is well worth checking out as well.

Yep! I plan on watching the original when this version has its last season (probably next year).

Thread resurrection time: I've been re-watching the series. Chapter 8 (the Sentinel episode) is one of my favorite, maybe my absolute favorite, episodes of any show. Masterfully done.

I was very confused with the little interaction at the end of the first episode.

Claire: Do this thing!
Frank: Yeah, ok.
Claire: Ermergerd...
Frank: Want some PBJ?
Claire: I'm not hungry.
Frank: *leaves kitchen*
Claire: *almost pukes in the sink and then proceeds to cook some eggs*

Did anyone else get confused by that? Really? Eggs? And then staring at them like, "I'ma eat the fuck out of these eggs," after saying she's not hungry and then dry heaving. Maybe this makes sense later or maybe it doesn't, but I am confused for now.

Sunnova...

Netflix sold the rights to House of Cards in Germany before they had their service here and now they can't show their own series... for another six months?!

I'm still finishing three. Wonder why it was reviewed so badly? It's miles better than the sluggish end to two.

I wasn't a huge fan of Season 3 for a lot of reasons. It was less about Frank the sociopathic evil badass and more about the politics of the White House, although there were some good moments. But in context (and granted I have a few episodes left to go) I think Season 3 was worth it because it was the set-up required for a much better season.
