That picture reminds me, I think I had a dream about a gecko being right behind my head last night. I remember nothing at all other than that.

There's this really handy "other thing" I'm going to write as a footnote to my abstract that I can probably explore these issues in. I think I'll call it my "dissertation."

Did it tell you that you could save 15% or more on car insurance by switching to GEICO?

Haha no, all the car insurance advice I get comes from a meerkat in a velvet smoking jacket.

I remember living in Guam for the first 2 years of my life (yes I do have some memories, though little, of those first two years oddly enough) and seeing geckos scurry around the ceilings.  Looking back on it, it seemed quite normal and I cannot think of a North American equivalent.  They were neither pest nor pets.

We get skinks in our house all the time, we don't mind them. We get Stumpies and Blue Tongue lizards in our garden all the time though, which is awesome.
Mildly Interesting fact: Blue Tongues love eating strawberries and other sweet berries/fruits.

I want to defend myself against that picture's accusation, but that would require me to state that I'm a 90s kid, thereby providing evidence to support the accusation! Argh!

I do love the 'hot network questions' section of Stack Exchange. Over the past couple of weeks I've seen among the sensible ones:

'How to increase my chances of getting cancer?' - Arqade, The Binding of Isaac (it's deliberate on that site though)
'How do I kill all these immigrants?' - also Arqade, Dwarf Fortress
'Is giving a kobold a weapon considered a marriage proposal?' - RPG
'How can I acquire pornographic material for my research?' - Academia

We were born in the 80s, yeah, but I consider myself a 90s kid because that's when I grew up. If someone born in 1997 said they were a '90s kid, they would not be correct, at least not in how the term is generally used.

*shrug* I don't agree with that terminology. Blame Calvin Harris maybe. I don't know, blame him for everything, I hate his music so much I almost wish he was a Holocaust denier or something so I could just hate him more.
