I, for one, will choose to be happy that the Hot Topic phase was widespread enough to inspire a listicle 10 years later, because at least that means it wasn't just us.

So back in Gen 1 Misty had a slight crush on Ash.  Looks like this new Gen the girl (Serena?) is crushing hard from what I'm told.

I do find it kind of funny, apart from the fact that the chaplain is trying very hard to be polite and understanding and the father is being pretty rude. I'm not so much bothered by the anti-religious jokes as by the meanness. The Bloggess does a much better job of responding politely but hilariously to ridiculous letters.

Yeah, as much as I like crass humour, that kind of response only makes the more 'evangelical' atheists look worse.

He's acting like an arsehole at best.

....we need to plan to bring thumb holes back.
Wait, thumb holes were intentional? I would sometimes put my thumbs through naturally occurring holes just because but...people made the holes? I guess that's no different from intentionally ripping jeans though, which was (is?) also a thing for some reason.

Also there are definitely creepy (not to mention Sexual Harassment) situations to hit on someone regardless of prior rejection or whatever.

If you're making someone uncomfortable with your advances and trying to convince yourself that you did nothing creepy, you probably did.

I know it's a little late, but as to the school chaplain letter doo-dad that was the source of some debate a few pages back: it isn't real. "Thorne" does a whole host of these comedy skit email back-and-forths, usually between employer/employee but I've seen a huge number of variations.
