If she didn't sleep for that week, it's one communication every five seconds; if she slept 6 hours a night, that's down to under four seconds each.  That is clearly impossible, not least because the speed with which her phone would respond wouldn't maintain that - so the figures are wrong or made up.

You have a script to send letters, and to sing?  And even if there was a script dialling his phone, did he also have a script answering it so that the speed could be maintained?

I tried to train my kitty to wear one of those, but she never was having anything to do with it. I lived on a fairly busy street and I was worried about her getting run over. She always wanted to go outside. But whenever I tried putting on the harness, she laid down, ears back and refused to move until I took it off. :(

Only if you play every mission by going straight to the objective marker and ignore the wide open levels full of hidden areas and loot. Actually, not even then, whoever spread that rumour is a goddamn idiot. I've spent a total of sixty hours on it over roughly two playthroughs.

Its a fun, entertaining, interesting world.  You basically play as night-crawler/assassin's creed guy in a steam punk (whale oil) world.  Yeah its 6 hours if you speed run but you can say that about any game (some people in WoW would hit level cap in a day).  Still a barrel full of fun with great atmosphere and great watercolor art design.  Loved ever bit of it. So many different ways to complete a mission. It is also the first stealth based game I actually enjoyed.

I didn't think so. The plot is pretty much a mash-up of the movie V for Vendetta and Commando.  Yes Commando as in Arnold Schwarzenegger. But thats putting it is a very basic way.  There is a lot more going on.

Also we had a thread about it here if you wish to inquire more.

The basic plot beats of the game are pretty predictable but the setting and themes are extraordinary. If you've played the game, read this article about Victorian notions of a man's honour and how Corvo's role in the game contrasts with it.

I'll take the rest of the discussion to the thread now.
