This may be a little too euclidean for this thread, but I believe that, unless you lead a truly extraordinary and superior life, have a great deal of meaningful insight and knowledge, and can make a very persuasive case... It's not very tactical to disparage someone else and what they do, esp when that person has demonstrably attained some significant level of success in many important aspects of life.
The reactions to the "false flag" operation weren't particularly funny, not simply because it was a dumb gimmick by a useless company but because we currently live in a world where it very well could have been for reals. stealing people's private info? For reals. Spreading women's nude photos on the Internet against their wishes for jerks to jerk off to and feel empowered by? For reals. Threatening women who date to speak up and take space? For reals. Punishing women who publicly make statements in support of feminism? For reals.
It's not particularly embarrassing to believe a plausible lie, nor is it particularly impressive of 4chan to figure out this "false flag operation". Peace
