Who am I? What's my face?
« on: 29 Sep 2014, 14:51 »

Here's the thing: I don't have an avatar here, and I think I'd like one. But, who am I? In the QC-verse, I guess I might be Pintsize. I don't wanna be Dale. Jim? I really need some help with this decision because I have no idea who I am or which face I should pick.

(thank you for indulging me, if anyone else needs some avatar-picking assistance I leave the floor open to you)

Use your face.

Only great people do that.

Here's the thing: I don't have an avatar here, and I think I'd like one.

You can have one of mine, if you want - I've got plenty! Also these, which I use elsewhere.

What about one of these:

The middle one is Marten, from a guest comic.

Forces them to think!  Anyway, the number of people who have taken the same picture of Claire as avatar in the last couple of days makes that moot...

You should have your face. Perhaps pulling a silly expression?

I think this is my favorite that you've had. It's your face but also a cookie! And that is awesome.

These have served me well over the years;

My eye - may not work well for you.  I use it on other boards, too, and for my Gravatar.  But a personal photo may be good, even though not of your (whole) face.

Zombie Hanners (I dunno - it was good for a while)

Then there was the Bogart phase - I used this one for years... I liked the conversational feel it had.

And now I've got the one you see, which looks more like me than I realized when I first chose it.  It was chosen for attitude more than anything.

Did you used to use the big cookie with glasses that you showed in your first post?  I remember someone on here using that, just never tied it to a name.  If that's the case, I'd go with it again, it was distinctive and personifying without being literal.
