Greetings and salutations
« on: 20 Oct 2014, 17:32 »

Long time reader, mid-time lurker saying hello world QC forum!

Figured I might as well introduce myself here.

First of all, my name "Nemo" is not based on that fish...thing with a movie, but based on Jules Verne's character Captain Nemo. Means nobody in latin and it is a reminder of my selfesteem issues when I was younger. Just wanted to get that out there because always seems to come up and it's important to me to not lose focus of why it is what it is.

I have loved QC for many reasons but primarily because I find it so relateable. Little bits and pieces of every character remind me of something I have experienced, the worries, the motivations (or lack thereof in some instances) and overall the message of inclusion, acceptance and growth that is implied or downright stated at times.

From what I have read while lurking, this community has a very strong investment/attachment to these characters, and rightly so, and I like that. Passionate people make life interesting, and I only hope I can contribute to discussion enough that I can be accepted. Wether I become a regular or just a casual poster, I hope I can learn and find something in this forum worthwhile.

So hello QC forums, thanks for being one of the more mature forums out there right now :)
