Hello, forum people. Please correct me if I break any rule.

I was procrastinating through the archives and I found something interesting:
comic 2683(http://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=2683) has Angus removing his glasses after Hannelore's rage,  with Jeph's coment saying he didn't need them anymore.

Now I looked at the more recent comics where Angus appears and, guess what, glasses are nowhere to be found (for example, http://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=2815.

I assume it's safe to say Faye's drinking problems are also a thing of the past?

I think it was the finest space tea combined with the rage. It resonated on people because space tea superpowers.

Which could also explain Marten's dilligence when it came to Claire, you know.

No glasses in this one too http://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=2781

You could indeed be on to something.

I noted the effect in the art change thread. Angus never wears glasses after that point.

Here's a question: What is the threshold where the severity of what Hanners cures is greater than the risk of what her rage might result in?

How often can this miracle be utilized before she snaps and kills everyone again?

... before she snaps and kills everyone again?

And there's another interesting point. How many times has a Hannerstorm resulted in an undetected QCVerse crash-and-reboot? (Like the Adams-esque replacement of the universe with something even more inexplicable. Again.)

Perhaps Hanners is stuck in a Groundhog Day scenario. She snaps and kills everyone, and then wakes up in the morning (with Sonny and Cher playing on the radio of course) and everyone is back to normal, having forgotten being brutally murdered.

Must... Resist... EDM pun...

And on topic, it might have happened several times before she even was introduced to the comic. Maybe that's why Faye's toaster burnt the building (being that one of the first Hannerstorms).

None of you understand.

The tea is hypnotic construct triggered by the intervention team. It makes it easier to remove the short term memory.

The bodies were collected. Neural maps were made. Clones were force grown. The guy who had to stab Faye's clone in the chest hasn't been the same since.

Anyway, Artie completely missed the glasses. Angus's vision problems were environmental, not congenital. It didn't show in the DNA and there wasn't enough left of the original eyes for us to reconstruct the defect. We could have reverse engineered it from the lenses, but Artie fucked up.

The reset team didn't miss the glasses. They put them right on his face, where our visual records said they belonged. No body realized what had happened until we first booted them. We decided to lower Faye's alcohol seeking tendencies, while we were at it, so we restarted her with a lower BAC. The shock of it must have covered for it Arties's dumb ass. Thank gods for small favors. It would sucked to have kill them all again. They all remember being yelled at.

We made edits. They don't need to know what really happened. I had the monitor that night. I called the code that sent the intervention team down. I watched it happen in real time.

I wish I'd had something to disrupt short term memory that night.
I wish we could edit my alcohol seeking tendencies.

You can't. But we can.

Neuralyser team, Code Four, stat.

Now, just look into the light and don't blink. You won't remember this hurting a bit.

Not the universe, just the simulation that Hanners is in.

I for one enjoy my incredibly tangential role in Hanner's simulation.

Wait, if I'm just part of a simulation - worse still, as the equivalent of rendering a butterfly in Africa in case one of their wingflaps causes a hurricane in Texas - nothing I do matters. Will ever matter. I'm meaningless.

You know what that means, right?

Beside finding the cheat code for infinite guitars, I can eat as much pie as I want and not feel shame! Unless I was programmed to feel shame... damn it self-awareness is overrated.

Oh, it's there.  It's one of those genetic sensitivity thing - some of us taste the shame, others can't...
