"Claire hangs out with Marten and Hannelore" is one of my favorite stories from the past few years.  Everything about that evening is damn near perfect.  Faye's probably been dying to ask Claire about her crush ever since she showed up looking for Marten (and I bet Dora suspected something too), and seeing Claire as part of the gang just makes me ridiculously happy. 

Also, I hope Marten remembers to use protection if/when he and Claire finally get it on.

It is interesting that, back then, Marten said that he knows puns aren't funny and that Jeph commented that he loathed puns. I wonder what happened?

Also, I feel like changing the dialogue in panel 1 caused Claire's change in expressions from panel 1 to panel 2 to appear quite odd.

Over the years that QC has been on all of the internets, the art has progressed amazingly. Each character has progressed into their own creation and obtained a level of detail that surprises me even now. Marten is wearing the same outfit in both comics. I suspect the illuminati.

Having just looked over the strips from when Marten and Claire met outside the library (this morning, comic time), she has only been shown from basically thigh-level up until now. 2830 and 2833 have the most amount of leg shown, and even those pictures end above knee-height. It is entirely possible she was wearing shorts all along! (Which doesn't explain the slightly different fit... *shrug*)
