It is for me, too. Never done it before. My job is finishing up tomorrow, I'll likely spend part of my unemployment reading through the rest of it

It'll probably take you about a week, tops.

I think Dorothy is going to figure it out before Danny does, considering his jump to, "I'm not gay."

Cue Dotty trying to hook him up with some guy.
If only there was a socialising opportunity nearby happening on this very evening. Something like a... what do you call a social hangout with friends and snacks and maybe music?

Also, why would Dotty want to hook him up with anyone? He has a girlfriend.

The whole setting-people-up deal is really Joyce's new thing, and I imagine she'll have some trouble grasping the meaning of bisexuality.

She's just barely coming to terms with the idea that being gay may not be the Worst Thing Ever. If you introduced her to bisexuality at this point her head may go *pop*.

Well, took you long enough, Danny.

Honestly, I'm with Dorothy on this one.  Never understood bi-erasure, myself.  Once it dawned on me that I also liked guys I just went "Oh, I guess that means I'm bisexual?" and walked around in a daze for a bit because it all made sense.  Get with it, Danny!

I'll say that when I was in high school, I participated in a hybrid of bi-erasure and slut-shaming. (Basically, the "bi people just want to expand their pool of sexual partners to get more sex" myth.)

Then again, I at least knew what bisexuality was! Dear kitteh Danny is being dense.

Becky already doubted the existence of bisexuality when talking to Billie in an echo to Danny's, "Is there even a word for that?" Maybe she's about to learn something, and be tactful about it, hopefully.

He included some (mildly nsfw) preview art on his tumblr, plus a link to a (actual nsfw) 2-page preview on Slipshine's tumblr in today's comic.

I'm...mildly curious? (understatement), but haven't worked up the courage to actually subscribe and read it (along with the other DoA comics).  Yet.

Okay, so just this afternoon, I finally started reading from the start, and I am so very glad I read so much of Shortpacked before this because the way Willis included Galasso, and the (currently-only-in-Roz's-head) match between Leslie Bean and Robin make me so very, very happy.

Also, I was surprised how quickly I got to the party scene I asked about earlier in the thread. That was apparently four years ago, and it's relevant on a modern level? Wow, this strip must move slower than I thought, which sounds like a criticism, but holy crap, it's funny

It moves like the glacier. The comic averages about one week of in-universe time per year, though the average is only that high because of some time skips.

That seems to work out, seeing as in the most recent strip I've read which is after just under a year of strips, Joyce hadn't picked a church yet, and I'd think she would if it were anything but her first Sunday on campus. That sentence got away from me and I don't know how to fix it, really. I hope it made sense.

It's weird that I'm reading these strips from two years ago, and I'm cross-referencing with their futures, seeing what he was setting up way back when.

It's been happening the entire time I've been reading! Like, my first comic was where Becky showed up at Joyce's door, and I've been keeping up since, but now I know these characters' futures!

Also, I think Dina is the best ever. She is my fave, I think.
