Yeah, I kind of thought that Leslie wouldn’t be able to do it; it’s just not in her nature to do something like that.
You know what else is entirely in-character? Robin’s whole story from beginning to end as well as her attitude towards Leslie and the whole situation. Sometimes, I don’t know if she’s charmingly and innocently simple or if she’s just a complete sociopath. She literally seems to have no clue and little interest in how her whims affect anyone else.
That said, I can't help but think that it’s kind of sweet that she sort of followed Leslie home like a lost puppy that had been shown affection for the first time in its life and curled up on her bed because it looked 'comfy' (read: reassuring and safe). I wonder what the ‘thing’ was? Is Leslie’s landlord a DeSanto voter? I kid you not; I can actually hear him saying something like: "It was a direct order from a congresswoman! I mean, aren't you supposed to do what they say? Isn't that in the Constitution somewhere?"
That said, I think it's more likely that Robin just told a direct lie like: "I'm Leslie's new girlfriend and I forgot my key." It seems that this Robin, like her DoA counterpart, doesn’t respect or even fully comprehend anyone’s boundaries. I really am starting to wonder if Robin has some kind of sociopathic behaviour disorder. In essence, if she wants something, she will do whatever it takes to get it and basically view the other party as being defective in some way for wanting to deny it to her because she cannot see any reason why they should do so.
