Now I'm looking forward to When Becky Met Robin. I've got a feeling that this will be a bizarre and surreal moment that may leave Leslie wondering just what had just happened in her life.

Either that or Joyce will end up punching out Robin's lights. Yeah, hitting a Congresscritter is a Federal crime but does she really want to have a long string of witnesses up on the stand in court telling the world about how she was in the middle of a home invasion when she was assaulted?

Seriously, I love Joyce in today's strip. Both how she's drawn and her dialogue makes her come across as really heroic and true in spirit.

I'd argue anyone who decides to put in a Halloween costume and run around punching people can't be of too solid of a state of mind to begin with.

Especially when the people they are punching are armed or capable of snapping steel girders with their hands. And Amber has faced off against the former, balanced on the hood of a speeding car.

So, as of today's strip (4/24), Amber having something like Dissociative Identity Disorder is as confirmed as it likely is going to get, given Willis's general dislike for labelling his characters' mental states. This is a big revelation for poor Danny who, I suspect, had previously thought that dating Amazi-Girl, not Amber, was either a kind of kinky costume thing or even a secret identity thing.

Here's the weird part: Both of the alters living in that body like him a lot. This could lead to one weird romantic triangle. It will be a test of his feelings for both Amber and Amazi-Girl whether he's willing to take on that complex relationship.

The thing is that Amber is more comfortable hiding and she has no incentive to change that at the moment. She's also proud enough not to want to go back on her decisions, no matter how ill-considered. I think that the time has come for Danny to move on... again.

Sad, but true.
Personally, I'd like to see Danny and Sal get *back* together...

( I know - different universe, but the Danny/Sal thing always smacked as cruel (to both of them) to me...)

Danny and Sal? I read far enough in the other 'verse to get that, but...good god, why?

Mainly because they started off together, and in their heart of hearts certainly seemed to *want* to be together.
Danny loved Sal. Sal loved Danny. But ...stuff.  (Nooo, not 'Butt stuff'!!)

I think it would be a nice tip o' the hat to allow them *both* to be happy (together) in this particular corner of the walkyverse.
(Old romantic that I am!)  :-)

ETA:
I think this (below) is from the redux, which is what I read.
I dunno if you read 'It's Walky' from its conception, or if you saw this *new* intro...

They seem to be a great couple... And Danny isn't really the weak 'Charlie Brown-ish' figure he eventually became.

http://www.itswalky.com/comic/college-ho-page-5/

Just read it again... Still think it's a damn shame...

I wouldn't make that bet Leslie. Robin at least lacks the empathy to try and convince Becky to give up the couch. Also... at what point was Leslie going to ask if Becky wanted to stay there? Seems kind of a big presumption. I'm mean, I'm sure she will, it's better than risking being caught sleeping on campus. But that seems kind of the thing you should ask before informing people she's staying there. In short, it doesn't seem like anyone in this house can see or think past their own desires.

Of all the people in the world to call Leslie out on how manipulative she's been by using Becky as a tool to try to eject Robin, naturally it had to be Robin herself.

The great mystery  - How  did Robin make Muffins without Eggs or Flour?

That's what makes them so dangerous to eat. They may have been made of things that 'looked like' the right ingredients like Weetabix ("I mean... it's from the same plant as flour, right?") and the centres of Creme Eggs.

Random thought - I wonder what Mary would think of President Trump. I feel like she'd be extreme enough to dislike him for all his 'ungodly' behavior, but maybe she's also extreme enough to support him just for the hope of ruining the lives of LGBT people. She's already shown she's willing to be hypocritical when it comes to her love of Reagan (he was a divorcee and she's supposed to opposed to that).

Mary strikes me as a dyed-in-the-wool Ted Cruz fan and felt that he was the divine choice to rule God's Own Country.

Whilst she's come to terms with having yet another East Coast Liberal as President, she's still upset that he hasn't done things that are important to her like put all the perverts in re-education camps, drive all non-Dominionist non-whites out of government jobs and set all benefit entitlements to zero. She also prays many times a day that he will see the 'light' and publicly adopt Dominionism.

So, the question is, why is Ryan there? My guess: he's an intern for the de Santo campaign. What's-her-name (Robin's campaign manager) may have sent him to do... something... to Leslie as she leaves her class. Fortunately for her (and for Joyce), he's too late.  :psyduck:
