If that's the original peelable album cover, Claire is being more than a little suggestive.

Is that Hannelore's sweatshirt/hoodie?  Either Claire's been borrowing from Hanners' closet, or that piece of clothing ended up at Goodwill after the Juicy Event, or my memory for character clothing is really awful.  Probably option 3.

Edit: Does Hannelore even have a light-blue sweater?  Am I just thinking about Sven's sweater?  What else have I failed to notice today? Are my pants on backwards? Am I on FIRE?  Did I kill a guy earlier?

She does!

They do both wear that color a lot though so I could see them both owning one.

They also both have kitty bags.

Had to look that up album up. :-o

Must be a not-so-subtle clue to what Claire was thinking about before going for ice cream. :-D

I have a feeling Claire put a bit more thought into her gift.  Marten was just like "Oh hey Claire likes books I bet she'll like Jane Austen yeah that's good enough."

Regarding Claire, I think that it reopens the debate as to whether she's a bibliophile. Additionally, that isn't a modern hardcover. The way it looks makes me think that it could be quite an old printing with its own intrinsic value. There is a message though - It's the story of a lonely, virginal but tough young woman who met Mr Perfect, even though neither of them knew it at first. It's also about the minefield of social prejudices that stood between them and 'happily ever after'.

Foreshadowing? Possibly.

In any case, it's nice that they both got the other something in line with their interests but also reflects the value that they place on eachother.

Prediction: tomorrow we find out it's an average lover's spat for them.
I certainly wouldn't want to live anywhere near them.  Especially when the bullets start flying and stuff starts going "boom".  The way this is going, tomorrow will be nukes and orbital bombardment.

No, there isn't. But there WAS on Christmas Day. Jeph just hasn't put it in the archive. Try googling it; someone may have taken a copy for their personal gallery on Tumblr or something.

It could be a legal issue. I think someone mentioned that the sleeve for Andy Worhol has been heavily litigated in the past.
