A good pun is it's own reword.
There is a difference between spare parts, extra parts and left over parts.

The Venn diagram  for Common Sense and Good Sense has very little, if any, overlap.

I knew who he was, but try as I may, I just can't see Angie in Red Pen Lady... it just doesn't work for me. So I figured there must have been something else I was missing.

“Oh yeah, a red pen. That certainly has no meaning. Christ, can’t Jacques learn to be even a little bit subtle with his symbolism?”

Faye:  "They have no names, no histories, no records.  Their language is silence, their appearance remembered only as a vague sense of deja vu....  and then they forget to wear their sunglasses, just one time, when they use the little flashy thing and they wind up like that.  Sheesh."

See, you lost me again. She just strikes me as a normal - albeit easily amused - human.

No, really, I'm human! It's just that I can move faster than the speed of sound. But only if I've had several espressos... or a can of Red Bull.

"It's an ambiguous line. Clearly, you're supposed to read it as me moving very fast to this position, but without context it could also imply that something behind me has just fled. Wittgenstein famously discussed this very phenomenon in his 1928 lecture "Die Vierten Mauer: Meine Rolle in seinem Untergang"..."
