Administrator Comment Sorry folks, that was me.

I was trying to fix an issue with the like button, and made a bad edit which killed the forum for everyone except people currently logged in using the QC-old theme.  Unfortunately that meant I couldn't get back in to fix it, and had to wait for a backup to be restored.

For the technically minded, I was deleting the part of a patch file that caused the Like button not to install in the QC-old theme.  I decided to comment it out rather than deleting, but used the wrong comment convention (the file is mixed XML and PHP).  Unfortunately, the file affected was the one that builds the framework for every forum page...

What this teaches me is that I'm not using the QC-old theme, which given that this is the scheme I remember it being for every single log on of the past decade baffles me slightly.

Pretty much figured. I saw the post about the Like button over in the other thread, and remembered the issues another Xenoforo-based website had with the software puking after adding things like that.

It happens. It's the bane of internet forums, sadly.

Yeah, but then the Inquisition has to perform a report and it's annoying and more trouble then it's worth. And the Ordo Malleus are just a pain in the ass at the best of times.
