Hanners and knitting
« on: 27 Mar 2015, 22:19 »

So I just noticed something odd on my third archive binge.
In comic 1267, Hanners notes that she's just started knitting, just the very basics.
In comic 2903, Hanners says that "last year's [scarf] was longer than this by now".
This suggests one of several things.
Either A) at least a year has passed between the two comics (as "by now" indicates that Hanners had started before that particular date the previous year), B) Hanners was joking about "last year's", or C) insert your own convoluted explanation here!
(I'm honestly not sure how time has passed in QC. I'll look into doing a day-tracker on my fourth archive binge in a few weeks.)
Seriously though, it probably doesn't mean anything (Jeph has stated that he doesn't really look back at his older work and that he's probably forgotten dozens of plot threads that he once had plans for), but I'm curious anyway.

There used to be invisible text here but i deleted it because it was a stupid gimmick anyway.

No, we cannot. I do think it's more likely HannerDad is still working on that technology.

But the fact that her father has not yet created time-travel technology would not prevent Hannelore from using it now.

Might work. After all, Hannelore is just detail-oriented enough to avoid making any drastic changes to the course of history.

Remember that time old Hanners went back to the past to marry Marten's dads?
