^  Yet another image I can't see because Tumblr have screwed up their IPv6 configuration and not corrected it in over six months (from the date of the first post I've found discussing the problem)!

Get with the times, Tumblr!!

Dang, that means you probably can't see pretty much everything I post

SEVEN little workers, tried to give their ship a fix
one got distracted by an egg
then there were only six

SIX little workers, tried to stay alive
one chased after Jones the cat
then there were only five

FIVE little workers, are shaken to the core
one went through an dark small vent
then there were only four

FOUR little workers, there was nowhere to flee
one was a machine in disguise
then there were only three

THREE little workers, the scared surviving crew
one was paralysed by fear
then there were only two

TWO little workers, they never could‘ve won
one tried to be a hero
then there was only one

ONE little worker, she was on the run
she killed the monster and survived
the rest is dead and gone.

A friend who did watch the film told me that it was indeed some hot garbage, but not precisely because of batfleck. It was just a bad movie period.

Quote
once there was a man who drove the train for a living. he loved it; it was something he’d wanted to do since he was a little boy. his favourite part was making the train go as fast as possible.

one day, however, because he was going so fast, the train got into an accident. now the man made it out safely but unfortunately, one passenger died. so, the man was put on trial, found guilty, and sentenced to execution.

the day came when the man was meant to be executed and he requests a banana for his last meal. he ate his banana, sat in the chair, and the executioner flipped the switch. sparks flew, but the man emerged alive.

now, around this time there was a law that stated if a person were to survive an execution, it was a sign of divine intervention and the prisoner was to be let go. so, the man was released.

he got his job back as a train driver, and having learned nothing from his previous mistakes, continued on driving the train recklessly. of course, the train soon got into another accident.

now again, the man was put on trial, found guilty and sentenced to death. and, for his last meal, he requested two bananas. so, he ate his bananas, was strapped into the chair, and the executioner flipped the switch. once again, the man was totally fine, and released.

now, would you believe that he got his old job back again? our reckless train driver seems to have learned nothing, because he continued to drive the train overly fast and recklessly. of course, he got into an accident for a third time.

once again the man was put on trial, found guilty, and sentenced to death.

the day came and he requested his last meal - three bananas. at this point the executioner said, “no, i’m sick of you coming in here, eating your banana and walking out unscathed. let’s just do this.”

so, without eating his bananas, the man was strapped to the electric chair, the executioner flipped the switch and - the man was completely unharmed. the executioner was dumbfounded.

“oh, the bananas have nothing to do with it,” the man explained, “i’m just a bad conductor.”

So, let's see if I can show a picture from imgur here after their latest changes.

That took four attempts and eventually involved going to their link, right-clicking the picture, and choosing "Copy Link Location" to get the information they used to supply up front.

They've hidden it well. First you have to hover your mouse over the picture you just uploaded, then a link appears with a button with an arrow on it next to it. Hover your mouse over that button, and then a link to "Get share links" appears. Click that, then the information you want will appear.

I just right-click and Copy Image Address, since it's usually not my own image that I'm sharing. Only recently learned manually replacing .gifv the with .gif in the URL gives you a regular gif. I knew there was a way to do it but either forgot or missed it. Although they did use to have boxes to the side or underneath with the info, including already in various embedding codes.

Personally, I hate that slogan... "Make America great again"? That's implying that America's not great now. Is this "the greatest country in the world"? Hell no. 1.That is a fucking horrible thing to say for a variety of reasons, and 2.Switzerland is tough to beat. Regardless, I still think we're great, and getting better all the time.

It's the standard politician/cult leader trick though. Convince someone that a problem or enemy exists that either isn't really there, or no where as dire as it's made out to be. Then convince them that you and only you can fix the problem/protect them from the bogeyman. Con someone into it and you have control over them and don't actually have to do anything, since there was never any real problem or danger to begin with.
