Background on the joke: Before becoming Solider 76, he was team leader of Overwatch. As such, a running joke is that he's 'Team Dad'. It helps that a lot of his in game voice lines are stuff like  'back in my day we'd have this payload delivered by now' and 'Get these jokers off my point!'. Cementing him as  the crotchety old fart. D.Va on the other hand is the youngest hero. She's a professional gamer turned mecha jockey and is loud, arrogant and seen as 'team baby/daughter' to a lot of the other heroes.

Bonus point: The guy in the skull mask is Reaper, who was 76's best friend before they got into a fight and blew up their headquarters. He was leader of the sister team Blackwatch, which did all the dirty jobs. Fans depict him as a 60 year old Edgelord and he and 76 are often depicted as co-dads to the team, or rival fathers living out their feud through their kids.

I know, if you have to explain the joke.. But unless you are into the fan community around these characters,  you just wouldn't get it anyway.

Does this make Ana the Team Grandma? Is someone gonna make a comic of Ana giving D.Va a really ugly Christmas jumper or something?

Yup. Ana and Reinhardt are team Grands. Torbjorn is the weird racist uncle who keeps mumbling about 'them damn robots coming to take our jobs'.

I'd play Overwatch if it actually had a campaign mode. Kinda sucks that a game with really good story/characters is online only.

That's reminds me, although this is more adorable (and requires more active movement) than that, of an old *chan thread (I only saw a screenshot of it so I can't point which one of them is) where some dude just put a page from some odd manga saying "MULTI-TRACK DRIFTING" and a drifting train.

The Olympics are another area that just trigger me. They build these expensive purpose-built structures that cost in the Billions to make, and then they just fall into disrepair. I feel that it would be better to just have one location set up for the Olympics, and just maintain the structures that are built there. "The Olympics are about world unity or whatever" you might say. Yeah, well the world can unify in this one city.

My suggestion? Bring it on home to Marathon, Greece. I'm sure the Greeks aren't going to use their title as the Home of the Olympics to try to rule the world or whatever, and it would beat the crap out of stuff like THIS happening.

...sorry, did you need some of this soap? Let me get off of the box.

I think we can safely say that Speesh Mahrines lack any kind of social skills. Unless it involves praising the Emperor, smiting the foes of the Emperor or training in the name of the Emperor they just don't do it...

Except for the Space Wolves chapter.  They are the only social ones...that may explain why the other chapters don't like them very much.  The wolves drink, prank, and have fun.  Meanwhile the Ultramarine brother next door is complaining about the noise while he's trying to study his codex.

Although I have heard the salamanders are very friendly, but uncomfortably so.

The inverse Subtitles from English to Jive with the two Jive Dudes is classic

And if your unaware of it, Airplane!, which was released in 1980 was, to all intents an purpose, a shot-for-shot comedic remake of a 1957 Drama Film called Zero Hour.  The 1957 Film was written by Alex Hailey, who would go on to pen the Novel turned Film Airport!

Here is a side-by-side comparison of Zero Hour and Airplane!.

23 Teachers Reveal The Most Ignorant Things Students Have Ever Said To Them. Seriously?

Yeah. That'll happen.

Great students make it all worth it though.

Then you crack a joke about UKIP in a lesson and realise that 30% of the students in there would vote UKIP.

Then you decide to stop directly expressing your political views.
