My earliest encounters with Anime was ironically a show on Nickelodeon about Grimm Fairy Tales that always played around lunch time during the weekdays. I was perusing TVTropes and came across "Bearskin." Reading the synopsis of it I got an immediate flashback of one of my favorite episodes of that show. The nostalgia was incredible...and I just found it on youtube.

I loved this when I was young... and I love it now in all it's cheesy glory.

Never been able to get a contact for the creators to try and petition a DVD release,. but I *did* manage to get the details for a Rankin/Bass / Halas & Batchelor enthusiast who had three episodes on master tape who transferred them to disc for me!

That ain't half bad - But nothing beats "The Show with the Mouse" for sheer simple-minded silliness
