Okay, we've all seen the trope of bulletproof nudity when applied to female characters in games whose "full plate mail" consists of a shiny bikini with a few spikes.

But how far can it be pushed?   Today I ran across an image that makes absolute nonsense.

Lady, you are busted to private.  Get off of that thing and report back to boot camp immediately.  Hint:  It's armor.  It's big heavy futuristic awesome armor.  But armor doesn't work unless you're inside it.   Oh, and you're also getting discipline for being out of uniform!

I think its suppose to be a penitent engine for Warhamemr 40k.  Since its not from the actual miniature range they branded it "Space Crusade."  I guess they thought it would be cooler to make them look more like a dreadnought than a chicken with saw arms. Also with a more "sexy" acolyte in need of penance?  Warhammer can be weird.

You're missing the point.

I'm a little concerned that someone is attempting to bring a point to this thread. Cut that out at once.  :police:

My 4 month old daughter was crying on our bed, wanting to be picked up.  I was lying next to her and she was looking at my wife and trying to signal that she wanted to be picked up so I started singing evanescence.

"pick me up"
"pick me up now mom!"
"can't pick up"
"pick me up now mom!"
"RAISE MEEEEEEEHHHHH!"

We both proceeded to laugh to the point of doubling over.  Daughter stopped crying but was confused.

Ever have one of those moments when you've been trying to figure something out for a long-ish time (measured in years in this case), and it's one of those "imponderables" where there are a million people with a million opinions?

One of those tough nuts where philosophers are the main people discussing it, and mostly they're just talking about how people feel about the question and what the question means and what they want the answer to be, but you need an actual specific real-world answer?  Where there's no consensus anywhere and you've had a hundred ideas that, when you examined them closely, weren't quite right....  and then someone tells you something and you instantly know it's the correct answer, and you probably knew it already but not consciously, and it turned out to be simple all along?

Yeah.  I had one of those yesterday.  I picked up what has to be the fiftieth book or so on the topic that I've read.  I didn't expect to find the actual answer in a book; I expected the discussion in the book to incrementally stir the ideas around in my head so I had a more complete perspective to think about it, at best.  But, defying all expectations, there it was.

Kudos to Lisa Feldman Barrett, for finally writing it down.

The big question was "what requirements do emotions fulfill and what fundamental biological purposes do they serve?"

Either we have very different definitions of NSFL or we're talking about different videos.

The picture is taking the music video which is being metaphorical and making it literal. Instead of all the violence, chaos, and repressions being representative of what America is, instead its just a picture of the continental united states.
