Just making a shot in the dark here: We know Pintsize and Winslow were kickstartering to make singing dildos. We know from the back of "Prolapse Monthly", which I hope isn't real, that the dildos are being advertised. We know that Faye covered half of the apartment's rent before she lost her job. Here's my theory: Pintsize and Winslow were successful with the business, they're selling the dildos at a rapid rate, and are advertising in porno magazines. Pintsize is getting tons of extra cash from this depraved business, and is using it to pay Faye's rent, possibly without her knowing. It makes more sense that Marten covering it alone, despite only being an employee at a college library.

Faye hasn't been out of work long enough for anybody to be covering her half of the rent yet.

Besides, everyone forgets that Marten got a 30% raise before he'd been there a year, as a result of witnessing certain trustee activities on the copier in Tai's office. Unless his rent is abusively high, he should be okay without any help for a good while.

On the other hand she probably doesn't have much in the way of savings and if the end of the month has already arrived, she could be in trouble.
