Jeph's Guest Strips?
« on: 17 May 2015, 10:13 »

Every year Jeph has a week of guest strips in QC.  But there don't seem to be many by him for other web comics.  I tried googling and these were the only ones I could find, and they seem to be mostly very old.

Does anyone know of any others? Should we have a page in the wiki for this?

I'd be shocked if there weren't any for Willis. Though maybe he just doesn't need any because he's got months of buffer.

Not a guest strip but a drawn cameo of Jeph appears in today's (19/01/2016) Oh Joy Sex Toy! Very NSFW. Not Jeph's cameo, but the rest of the strip... Yep.

Curious; on my machine at home, Opera and Chrome say they cannot look up that web site, but IE and Firefox are OK with it.  But at work, they all find it.  The webkit browsers must somehow be using a different DNS to look it up - but if that's my ISP's instead of my own, I really wouldn't expect it to be censoring like that.

There's an ancient monochrome Dr. McNinja from back when Kent was inking I think...

I can't find the attribution at the moment but that's an early 07 Jacques for sure.

The father?  Or the kid?

I think it's a wee bit of a reach, myself.

I think DPM is talking about the entire strip. It does looks quite like Jeph's style.

I'm pretty sure when I first viewed it in 07 Jeph was credited, now it's only on the seldom viewed Archive page (since Dr. Hastings added drop-down navigation ages ago):

A collection of self contained strips by Fred Grisolm, Tom Siddell, Scott Bevan and Kent Earle, John Allison, David McGuire, KC Green, Sam Logan, Jeph Jacques, Carly Monardo, and Ryan Estrada

Jeph had a newspost about it for that day too, though the links are broken:

I have a guest strip up over at Doctor McNinja today! Make sure you click on the second page or you will probably think I am a heartless bastard. Which I am.

ConBust was lots of fun! Thanks to the super-nice staff and everyone who came to say hi. Next weekend is Sakura-Con!

See you tomorrow.

Jeph has done fan art  for Willis, but no strips:

Is it wrong to think that it was better without the second page?
