Only 22 seasons too late!

Believe it when I see it.

Despite the varying quality, to the point I've not followed properly for at least five seasons, and I agree with Thrillho in that I'll believe it's over when it happens, I'll still be devastated when it finally ends.

30 seasons goes beyond a binge, beyond even a marathon. Watching that all in one go will be an odyssey.

I think FXX did something similar to that a few years ago.

20 Seasons too late.
I'm gonna say twenty-one. Season nine was very much the beginning of the end, but I'd keep it if only for its first episode. (The City of New York vs. Homer Simpson)

I'd say season 8 was the greatest (think S08302: "You Only Move Twice"), but that doesn't mean there wasn't some gold in amongst the later seasons. The Treehouse of Horrors have generally been of reliable quality.
I am still going to be devastated when it ends though. It's been running for the entirety of most of our lives  :psyduck:

You Only Move Twice is one of my favorite episodes ever, but I'd say seasons six and seven were the absolute height.

Season eight is my second favourite, season five is first.

I think it's safe to say that 4-8 is the true golden age, with decent seasons on either side.
