Bubbles - Mass Effect?
« on: 18 Nov 2015, 01:35 »

I'm new to the whole forums thing, but haven't seen anyone mention this yet.

Doesn't Bubbles look very close to the Mercenary amour from Mass Effect? Has anyone else thought this?

Heres a link to where i see the similarities.

It also looks like if you peeled the skin off a human to reveal the musculature.

Its probably a stylistic choice by Jeph to show that Bubbles is different to the other AI, I mean, you have one of the AI at the fight club that looks like a genderbend version of May, another who looks like he belongs in a 1950s cartoon or in a 30s serial down at the local picturehouse.

On his Twitter feed, Jeph has repeatedly said that he based Bubbles' exo-armour on the heavier armour designs from Mass Effect. He has also implied strongly that he would never have got Bubbles' hip armour right if he hadn't spent hours staring at FemShep's butt.

So... Deus Ex: Human Revolution? Did she ask for this?
