RIP Prince

More and more often I find myself thinking how much younger these people are than I am...

Prince defined my generation - even though he was older than me.

"The Bird" was one of the songs we all danced to - and though it was Morris Day & The Time's song, he had a huge part in writing it.

And, of course, "tonight I'm gonna party like it's 1999..."

I chose to honor Prince by making pancakes.

Legend.  I loved him when my friends were giving me the weird side-eye for loving him (10 years ago when things like that mattered to them ) and I still love him now.

Latest way to love him: Watching him tear the heck out of While My Guitar Gently Weeps, amuse Dhani Harrison and then throw his guitar into the sky, seemingly making it disappear :-D
