Pokes head over parapet...
« on: 01 Feb 2017, 06:01 »

Hullo frae Bonnie Scotland!
Hoots, Jings, Crivvens, Help Mah Boab and other colourful, semi-fictitious, stereotypical outbursts!

What can you say on these kinds of pages...?

Okay-
I am...
Scottish, Old (54 in June), Lover of most of The Arts (Classic Opera being my only stand out dislike), Actor, Writer, Singer, Musician, Radio Broadcaster and Civil Servant.

(Whut!?)

Big fan of film and animation: ALIEN, Scott, Stone, Spielberg, Allen, Trek and Wars (obvs!), Ghibli, Aardman.
Comics: Schulz, Watterson, Larson, Breathed.
Other graphic goodies: Gaiman, Morrison, Ennis, Mills, Bell, Moore, Barker, etc.
Deeply into music; (mostly mired in the 70's (When music was good)-a bit of the 80's.
The Standards: Oldfield, Floyd, Genesis (and Solos), Supertramp, Queen, Jarre.
Singer/Songwriters: Kate Bush, Alanis, Tori, Vega, Paul Simon, Lennon & McCartney.
The New Kids: Biffy Clyro, Muse, MCR.
And Movie/TV/Game Soundtracks galore! (Halo, Battlestar etc).
Comedy: Connolly, Carlin, Hicks (!), Lee (Stewart), Herring (Richard).

...and hundreds of other bits of stuff.

Book mad: Bradbury, Asimov, Donaldson, Tolkien and Lewis (And Carroll and Lear!) Orwell, King, Herbert, Adams (D and R), Pratchett.

Purveyor of Parentheses.

Discovered QC and 'The Walky-verse' at the same time and binged 'til I was all caught up... now I have to wait 24hours for my fix and it's so annoying!

RE: QC... I think 'Bubbles' persona and arc is one of the best written comic characters I've seen in a long time.

Lastly, I was SO pleased to see  :psyduck: as an emoji! The GREATEST of all Pokémon!

Now...

I know none of you know me too well, but the thing is, I've got this Lug Wrench, that I don't really need any more.
Any ideas as to what could be done with it?

Cheers!
