You can learn a lot about a person's personality from their personal spaces. In Claire's case, we see lots and lots and
lots of books (which should surprise no-one). However, it was her pin-board that caught my attention:
We see what looks like a schedule; that's almost certainly her college schedule and it reminds us that she's Ms Organisation. There is a picture of what looks like a building; I've got no clue what that could be. Finally, there are also a few pictures of redheaded children; that could be Clinton but an odd thought occurred to me: What if it's
Claire herself? Why would she have pictures of herself as a child? Well, in one of the pictures, she's shown wearing pink. This is just a weird idea that I have in my head but I'm wondering if they're reminders to her that she was a girl long before she started her physical transition.
The final picture, which might be of her when somewhat older (note the glasses), seems to show her with a punky hairdo and wearing a black turtle-neck. Like I said yesterday, I wonder if there has always been a part of Claire that has been a rebel looking for something to rebel against.
Finally, there is Mr Bun-bun, who I am sure was a great friend to young Claire. I'm wondering if that was a
Calvin and Hobbes (Suzie in C&H had a stuffed white rabbit) reference but that's a bit of a stretch, I think.
Setting my brain-storming aside, I can't help but wonder if Bubbles' personal journal for the day will include something along these lines: "Today, I invented a new form of recreational pursuit - Freestyle furniture riding."
