RIP: Martin Landau

A man with a long career, a versatile Oscar winner, but oddly overlooked by the mainstream.

Was the epitome of class in Space 1999 (where I first encountered him.)

Had a good innings.

Martin Landau was a fixture of 1960s and 1970s daytime and weekend morning TV. In the cash-strapped '70s and '80s, he was thus a fixture of British commercial TV and therefore a familiar figure to me. However, like Joe, I'll always remember him every time that I look at the moon!
