FAYE: "No way, no how! I'm the legacy character in this strip!"

AMANDA: "Well I've changed the least, so I have artistic seniority!"

EVIE: "One-upmanship in comics is weird."

FAYE: "Duck season!"

AMANDA: "Rabbit season!"

EVIE: "Actually, it's Elmer season."

A good pun is it's own reword.
There is a difference between spare parts, extra parts and left over parts.

The Venn diagram  for Common Sense and Good Sense has very little, if any, overlap.

Amanda: "But we watched it last night, and it was clearly Greedo who shot first!'

Faye: "No, in the original version, which is the only version that matters, Han shot first!"

Evie: "Doesn't matter who shot first. Only thing that matters is who shot last."

EVIE: "Yeah, she's a lot like you: Snarky, defensive and self-absorbed with more than a few abandonment issues. That said, she's got a great in bed, is loyal to a fault and she makes me laugh so, the way I see it, I'm way ahead!"

AMANDA: "Evie! I told you that I have a sparkling personality!"

Evie:  The way I figure it, if we tell 'em both they're the mother of the bride and then let them fight over who gets to plan the wedding? They'll either kill each other or figure out they have something to bond over.

Amanda:  Don't ship our mothers, Evie, it's creepy!
