ROKO: "So, it turns out that Melon really has a lot of anxiety about losing her friends and doesn't trust that we won't just vanish."... "She handled this by putting super-glue on her shirt."

MELON: "I just wanted to be sure that she was safe!"

NODE #1: "So, we were thinking that the best way to freak out Roko is for one of us to be in every room in her apartment!"

NODE #2: "No can do; we're off to see Corpse Witch!"

NODE #3: "It's days like this when we question why we ever got a biological pet in the first place!" ... "It's because they taught us how to treat chew-toys!"

NODE #1: "Station will be needing another new module for the research section again!"

NODE #2: "The professor is quite happy that the bench test for the new drive system is going so well!"

NODE #3: "According to telemetry the bench will miss us by 1.414 kilometres!" ... "Drive just engaged and now it's gone."

A good pun is it's own reword.
There is a difference between spare parts, extra parts and left over parts.

The Venn diagram  for Common Sense and Good Sense has very little, if any, overlap.
