May is remarkably not-nonchalant about this ...
Yeah, I have to agree with all the people who say that, if anyone is going to be 'weird about this', it's going to be May.

We are Legion ... but who else is Legion, too?  :psyduck:

Actually the only loosely-defined Kaiju film I've ever liked is the 1998 Godzilla. Furthermore, I'm advised that it is different enough from the mainstream Kaiju genre to not count at all.

That would be GINO (Godzilla in name only) you're talking about, and no, he doesn't count.  It was Jurassic Park in New York.

Which movie did Toho include him in, call him 'Zilla', and have him get one-shot?

2004's Godzilla: Final Wars, 29th film in the Godzilla franchise, 28th produced by Toho, and the sixth and final film in the Millennium series. Largely served as the 50th anniversary film of the original Godzilla film.

I so regularly read this on my phone that looking at today's comic on my laptop to see if I was up to date blew my mind.

Jeph's art has got REALLY good lately. I love May's expression when she's trying to sneak in in the first panel.

Personally, I think May may need some time to process all of this.

Although it's probably out of May's budget, I wonder if AIs in the QCverse can pay for time on a cluster in order to help them deal with their issues more quickly WRT the outside world?  It might speed up the process of therapy, or at least allow them to put their external lives virtually on hold while they work through some things.

Raising the question, why does the support group meet physically?

I would imagine that if a group of AI were to meet digitally, it wouldn't have the same impact as physically being there, in fact, I would go as far to say that its like ringing a support line instead of going to a support group. Yes, you get someone talking to you, but its not the same as them looking at you and saying the words to you. One is impersonal, the other reinforces the idea that you aren't alone.

Meeting digitally would involve merely dedicating processor capacity.  Meeting physically requires commitment.

We've seen one example of them preferring to meet virtually, when Eminence Grise confronted Corpse Witch.

I can see the signalling argument, where showing up says by implication "I'm committed enough to this to drive here and back".

That's different. That's akin to Batman taking a criminal to the top of a skyscraper so he can interrogate them while threatening to drop them.

Also, no witnesses.

The irony is that there IS a petting zoo in the area; there's a section of the Forest Park Zoo in Springfield (about 20 minutes south of Northampton) that allows petting.  Of course it closes at dusk, but Forest Park is a very large (and heavily forested) civic park that's very easy to get into at night, and the zoo's pretty close to the main entrance.

It's tragic in a way that she has such a hard time admitting that Dale might be her friend. Historically, other people have had to tell her that they're her friends (like Momo) and she's been happy to have them. It's just a reminder of how profoundly hurt she's been by her past misadventures.
My favourite example is here:

'The minute you say anything's bugging you she's all "I am so sorry, how may I be of assistance, wee wah wee wah".'
'I'm not a professional, but I'm pretty sure what you're describing is "friendship".'
'I guess.'

It probably tells us a lot of how sweet and innocent Momo is that this is automatically the first option that jumps into her mind. I suppose that, in some ways, Momo doesn't know how right she is. May's source of embarrassment is something that she wouldn't admit to because it doesn't mesh with her public persona!

Additionally, with regard to Marigold and Momo's reactions to the idea: So say us all!

Marbear's complexion has really cleared up of late. Noxzema or ProActiv??

I credit entirely Dale. Having him around is motivating her to greater levels of self-care and a slightly healthier lifestyle. If nothing else, she's getting lots of exercise (much to Momo and May's annoyance)!

Raising the question, why does the support group meet physically?

It might be a legal thing for may - simply because the law has no digital support group section.
Apart from that, it may teach them how to deal with individuals who simply can't use digital only, like humans.

Changes in hormones because of regular sexual activity is a thing and can lead to this change without the need for medication.

These are not formal medical references, so take them with a pinch of salt:

Effects of hormone levels on skin
So, maybe sex improves the balance of the hormones and so reduces acne that has built up in frustrated teens?
Well, some people seem to think it could.

I recall him switching tools from Photoshop to Manga Studio, and I think it was somewhere in that period. Could easily be some differences in the tools encouraging stylistic shift?

If so, her hair in comic 3854 doesn't look much different from the previous comic where she said she wanted to lengthen it.  Her comment in the first panel could mean that Bubbles said it looked nice after a 2nd round in the vat, or it could just mean that Bubbles convinced her it looked fine as is and Momo didn't need to go another round.

I think an all-night petting zoo would be mostly bats.

I think it would be utterly bats***!
And oppossum and raccoons.

He's probably just worried about May and looking up possible explanations. And "all-night petting zoos" with SafeSearch turned ON.

not just delete, but do so recursively, and force it on files that don't want to be deleted.
