Socially appropriate greeting
« on: 10 Dec 2019, 03:41 »

I've been reading the comic since the bad art days, and it has always been the last one in my queue every weekday because I know it will be good.

Anyway, I am not likely to post much, because I am antisocial and grumpy, but at the same time, I want to be able to talk about QC, so, there is that...

Hello! Nice to meet you!

Nothing wrong with a little "antisocial", it's still good to see you in the forums. Hope you have a good time here =)

Fun thing about being in the military is every two to five years, you move on to another place, and you're the "new guy" all over again...

So, I'm kinda used to it.

The username was a natural (8 character) adaptation of a nickname i was issued whilst in the military, yes. Something to do with surviving a series of accidents in a short period relatively unscathed.  The eight characters were a limitation of IRC back in the olden days of the early internet.  I have held the moniker ever since.
