Some number of things you might want to know about the new person:

1. Yes, I'm autistic.
2. Yes, people accuse me of being a vulture.
3. I'm Canadian.
4. I'm from a small town but now live in a big (by Canadian standards) city.
5. I like making numbered lists.
6. I've been reading QC since very early on.
7. I'm pushing fifty.
9. I know you're wondering where number 8 went.
10. Yes, I got my handle from Faye's bedside manner.
8. I know what a saskatoon is.
11. I miss Ellen, but not Natasha.

  • 8. Hi-- We have at least two things in common, neither of which are Canada (though I hear it's nice.)
    I hope you'll forgive my not going into specifics, though I live considerably closer to the setting of QC-- While I think Jeph is now closer to Canada.
  • 1. A saskatoon, obviously, is an ordered list with the exception of a freely-ordered item 8. It comes from the Cape Breton Gaelic "saghsàidoone", meaning "8 or so."
